Since 2007, we have collected and preserved poplar and gray poplar germplasm and related geographical distribution and habitat information from 17 regions (states and cities) and 63 counties (cities and districts) in Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Inner Mongolia and Ningxia. The scientific data will be systematically concentrated in one, forming a perfect series of data generation system and numerical research environment to build a germplasm resource base of the poplar group, providing a platform and service support for the sharing of scientific data and scientific research on poplar and gray poplar resources. In addition to data sharing, the database of poplar and gray poplar resources also enhances the value of scientific data and forms new scientific data with higher value through comprehensive integration of scientific data and knowledge mining, and scientific reprocessing of the team's self-produced data and data from other related research institutions.
